Salary: $16.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 32 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Work setting: Rural area, Willing to relocate, and Pharmacy or drugstore

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office, MS Windows, and MS Word

Physical Requirements:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist health care professionals
  • The candidates should be able to compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products
  • The candidates should be able to process claims such as health insurance or workers’ compensation
  • The candidates should be able to maintain supplies, order supplies and equipment, organize and maintain inventory, and schedule and confirm appointments
  • The candidates should be able to compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams, bill third-party insurers, and ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate, enter client information in databases, and prepare medications for clients
