Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- The candidates should be able to follow instructions from a dietitian or chef to prepare and cook special meals for patients
- The candidates should be skilled in planning menus, determining food portions and costs, and monitoring/ordering supplies
- The candidates should be able to inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff, order supplies and equipment, and supervise kitchen operations
