Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French and English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting and finance
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be detail-oriented, results-driven, proactive, and able to work autonomously

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be bilingual in French and English and possess excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • The candidates should have strong working knowledge of manufacturing operations, product, and systems costing
  • The candidates should have in-depth working knowledge of systems such as SAP or other costing systems, along with advanced Excel skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate project and change management capabilities and a CPA, CMA, CGA, and MBA in accounting or finance

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to report and present the manufacturing business’s financial results, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner
  • The candidates should be able to manage the month-end closing process in SAP and provide cost forecasting, analysis, and productivity pipeline analysis
  • The candidates should be able to reconcile accounts with the factory balance sheet and manage and maintain plant KPIs and financial metrics
  • The candidates should be able to provide thought leadership and insights to achieve key plant performance measures, with a strong focus on cost reduction and operational efficiency
  • The candidates should be able to conduct self-assessment audits and manage all internal and external audits
  • The candidates should be able to establish and maintain financial standards (financial SMD) and initiate process improvements
  • The candidates should be able to lead corporate initiatives within the plant and support business unit finance on projects, including capital appropriations, new product development, and issues related to plant asset utilization, capacity, and management
  • The candidates should be able to provide financial support and tools to teams and manage and develop five direct reports
