Requirements:

Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate a
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working at heights, adhering to safety protocols and regulations, and be able to work in cold/refrigerated environments, ensuring proper attire and equipment for temperature control
- The candidates should be prepared to work in dusty conditions, using appropriate protective gear and maintaining cleanliness standards, and be capable of working in hot environments, staying hydrated and taking necessary precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean and prepare surfaces before applying plaster or compound, ensuring proper adhesion and finish quality
- The candidates should be able to measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to walls and ceilings, achieving accurate and seamless installations
- The candidates should be able to mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency for application, ensuring proper texture and finish
- The candidates should be able to install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings using appropriate tools, ensuring structural integrity and support
- The candidates should be able to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages as required for the job, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
- The candidates should be able to erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms safely and efficiently, facilitating access to work areas
- The candidates should be able to apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish, achieving high-quality results
- The candidates should be able to install exterior and interior steel studs for framing and support, ensuring stability and durability of structures
- The candidates should be able to spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings for desired finishes, achieving desired aesthetic effects
- The candidates should be able to tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound for seamless joints, ensuring uniformity and durability of installations
