Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems, and locate positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
- The candidates should be able to install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems in domestic, commercial, or industrial settings, cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings, and join pipes using various methods such as couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
- The candidates should be able to test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, determine piping system requirements and sizing, and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
