Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems, locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, and cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
The candidates should be able to join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment, test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
The candidates should be able to measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
