Job Description:

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Registered Apprenticeship certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Plumber Trade Certification and Plumber Red Seal Certificate

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems, prepare tenders and quotations
The candidates should be able to instruct apprentices, locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
The candidates should be able to cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings, join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
The candidates should be able to schedule personnel, tools, and equipment, test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
The candidates should be able to determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
