Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
- The candidates should be able to install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems, and prepare tenders and quotations
- The candidates should be able to locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, and cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
- The candidates should be able to join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment, and test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- The candidates should be able to determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, as well as measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
