Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have training and experience interacting with the public in a retail and service environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically fit to lift mail and packages
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license or provincial equivalency and have experience in business administration and including sales and cash transactions
- The candidates should demonstrate an understanding of general or post office accounting systems
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sell postal products and services to the business community and the public
- The candidates should be able to sort, distribute, and process mail into appropriate classifications
- The candidates should be able to provide customers with information and forms related to postal services
- The candidates should be able to address delivery and service difficulties promptly and effectively to resolve problems for customers
