- The candidates should be able to perform a variety of sales and customer service activities to ensure complete customer satisfaction
- The candidates should be able to operate a computerized point of sale system efficiently and accurately
- The candidates should be able to maintain a high level of knowledge regarding postal products, services, and delivery options
- The candidates should be able to process financial transactions, including cash, cheques, debit, and credit card payments
- The candidates should be able to receive, sort, and sequence mail items accurately and efficiently
- The candidates should be able to handle mail items weighing up to 22.7 kilograms (50 pounds), exercising the necessary physical effort
- The candidates should be able to maintain attractive floor displays and conduct merchandising and inventory control effectively
