Salary: $16.52 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Pickardville, AB
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime
Supervision: Staff accommodation provided, Rural area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Automated systems experience: Automated environmental control equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be physically demanding and a repetitive taskers
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye coordination
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
  • The candidates should be able to work in a noisy area, in odors, in dusty area, in chicken farming, and in poultry and egg production area

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be organized and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
  • The candidates should be able to write daily basic progress reports
  • The candidates should be able to set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
