Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate
Experience: Candidates should have previous experience in food processing or manufacturing industry
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be willing to work night shifts, including weekend shifts
- The candidates should be physically fit, with a good attendance and personal safety record
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have basic electrical and mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, preferably
- The candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team member
- The candidates should have the ability to maintain a clean and safe workplace
- The candidates should have good written and oral communication skills are essential for the role
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems within code requirements
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain high-pressure steam boilers effectively
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain a wastewater treatment system efficiently
- The candidates should be able to perform specific preventative maintenance work and lubrication tasks as scheduled
- The candidates should be able to update maintenance logs and records accurately and monitor and respond promptly to plant alarms
- The candidates should be able to complete work orders assigned by the Chief Engineer in a timely manner
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with others to plan and coordinate the completion of maintenance tasks
- The candidates should be able to perform building maintenance tasks throughout the facility
- The candidates should be able to provide proactive customer service in addressing daily plant problems and issues
- The candidates should be able to drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging their skills and observations and ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with Safety, Food Safety, and Product Quality standards
