Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments and dusty conditions
- The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks and capable of handling heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be physically capable of meeting the demands of the job, possess manual dexterity, and demonstrate attention to detail
- The candidates should have hand-eye coordination, be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to construct clay models and molds for use in casting concrete products and build and repair wooden frames used for molding
- The candidates should be able to position reinforcing rods or wire mesh in molds, fill molds with concrete, and remove castings from molds
- The candidates should be able to finish surfaces of castings using screed or trowel
