Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a noisy and dusty environment, handle heavy loads, and be physically fit for demanding tasks
- The candidates should have good manual dexterity, a strong attention to detail, and possess good hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to construct clay models and moulds for use in casting concrete products, build and repair wooden frames used to mould concrete products, and position reinforcing rods or wire mesh in moulds
- The candidates should be able to fill moulds with concrete, remove castings from moulds, and finish surfaces of castings using screed or trowel
