Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of post-secondary education in Commerce or Business Administration
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of retail banking experience

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese and strong working knowledge of MS Office
• The candidates should have proven client service skills and possess excellent prioritization and organizational skills
• The candidates should have support from their Manager to apply to this role and aware that the role may be based out of the Marine Gateway (South Vancouver) or Downtown Vancouver Office
• The candidates should have completed IFIC and CSC and basic understanding of investment fundamentals and a thorough understanding of RBC products and services
• The candidates should have Customer Knowledge, Customer Service, Customer Service Management, Group Problem Solving, Identifying Sales Opportunities, Interpersonal Relationship Management, Oral Communications, Perseverance and Follow-Through, Product Services and Sales Activities

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to meet with all new clients to outline the PBA role and support the Private Banker in providing a superior client experience to HNW IPB clients
• The candidates should be able to act as the primary contact for new and existing client needs, coordinating sales and fulfillment with product and service specialists
• The candidates should be able to thrive on finding solutions and ensure problems are resolved to the client’s satisfaction, advising the Private Banker of potential escalations or major issues
• The candidates should be able to maximize opportunities with clients to enhance retention, revenue growth, and referrals as a sales and client service professional
• The candidates should be able to assist clients with requests such as processing daily transactions, wire transfers, and daily term investment renewals in a timely manner
• The candidates should be able to maximize the use of technology to maintain data integrity, documenting all relevant client sales and service contacts and results
• The candidates should be able to work as part of the International Private Banking Team and may be required to work out of the Marine Gateway (South Vancouver) or Downtown Vancouver locations
