- The candidates should be able to zone the department
- The candidates should be able to rotate stock and check for expired products
- The candidates should be able to ensure the merchandise is properly signed and priced
- The candidates should be able to adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
- The candidates should be able to adhere to food safety and handling procedures and follow sanitation and cleaning procedures
- The candidates should be able to follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
- The candidates should be able to ensure that the department is fully stocked with merchandise and ready for business
- The candidates should be able to follow Health and Safety guidelines
- The candidates should be able to stock merchandise/picks, downstocks if applicable, apply product protection when required, and set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and set new shelf cap
