Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have 1 – 3 years experience operating consoles for festival or events

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to lift supplies and equipment such as lighting fixtures, staging decks, truss, motors, and other production equipment
  • The candidates should have the ability to produce high-quality work quickly under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess advanced operational knowledge in at least one typical Production Systems such as Digico, MA, ETC, Tricaster, or similar
  • The candidates should have experience with the setup and operation of production equipment and systems
  • The candidates should demonstrate an understanding of the characteristics of different lighting, audio, or video protocols and how they function and signal flow and troubleshooting
  • The candidates should have a working knowledge of standard computer and industry software such as MS Office, QLab, Capture and Workbench

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to set up Production Systems including Lighting, Audio, Video, Cameras, Staging, Rigging,  and provide programming according to event requirements
  • The candidates should be able to create and maintain paperwork required to operate festivals or events, including plots, Input lists and cue lists
  • The candidates should be able to work with clients and artists to ensure production requirements are met
  • The candidates should be able to lead production crews in setups, operation, and changeovers
  • The candidates should be able to follow best practices and ensure the safety of staff, venue, and equipment at all times
  • The candidates should be able to provide guidance to other staff, helping to develop and enhance their skills and provide system troubleshooting and onsite repairs
  • The candidates should be able to perform equipment onsite maintenance to ensure equipment stays in a state of good repair
