Salary: $29.00 hourly 32 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Port Alberni, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning, Morning
Supervision: 11-15 people, Labourers in processing, manufacturing and utilities
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports, establish work schedules, and oversee the safety of operations
- The candidates should be able to recommend personnel actions, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and set up machines and equipment
- The candidates should be able to supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of workers, resolve work problems, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
