Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Basic security clearance

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should possess attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, be reliable, and have good time management skills

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
• The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and appointments, and tend to the emotional well-being of children

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
