Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, occasionally on short notice
- The candidates should be able to set up station equipment (lifting up to 50 pounds)
- The candidates should be willing to jump into other roles as needed by the station
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be high energy, outgoing, and eager to initiate conversation with the public
- The candidates should be able to take initiative, self-manage, and flourish in a team environment
- The candidates should have independent problem-solving and decision-making skills and valid CLASS G driver’s license
- The candidates should have experience with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok), WordPress, and video editing software and knowledge of the market
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to execute station events and on-site promotions, including the setup of various signage, equipment, and driving branded vehicles
- The candidates should be able to attend all major station promotions, designated client promotions, and non-profit street team events
- The candidates should be able to assist in sourcing events to support and attend and organize on-site aspects of community cruiser programs and the team with office work such as preparing guest lists, preparing web contests, preparing wrap reports, analyzing contest results
- The candidates should be able to proactively engage and interact with listeners, contest winners, clients, and the general public
- The candidates should be able to brand and market the Rogers radio properties in a professional manner to entertain crowds with music, games and prizing
- The candidates should be able to establish strong relationships with other team members and key partners
- The candidates should be able to maintain and take promotional inventory, including signage, prizing, and equipment in the station storage area, and upkeep station vehicles
- The candidates should be able to use and understand station social media pages while on location (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok)
- The candidates should be able to perform cut-ins to promote presence at an event where necessary and upkeep cruiser pages on station websites
- The candidates should be able to provide regular event feedback to The Branded Content and Integrations Leads
