Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Candidate Status:

Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to follow parents’ lead with toilet training, assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children and tend to the emotional well-being of children
