Italian Kitchen based in Vancouver, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Restaurant host/hostess. Italian Kitchen is a celebrated culinary destination renowned for its authentic Italian cuisine and vibrant ambiance. With a menu curated by skilled chefs using traditional recipes and premium ingredients, they offer a tantalizing array of dishes ranging from classic pasta and wood-fired pizzas to contemporary Italian creations. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $17.40 to $19.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 35 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and answer questions regarding menu items and preparation methods
- The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, attend to seating arrangements for large groups, and greet customers
- The candidates should be able to perform opening and closing activities, provide general information on community services, and receive customers’ reservations, assigning tables as needed
