Job Description:

Salary: $26.50 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Port Coquitlam, BC
Supervision: 5-10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines and goals

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate dependability and reliable performance in assigned tasks, exhibiting reliability by consistently meeting commitments and expectations
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues, promoting a dedicated team player mentality that fosters collaboration and cooperation

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, including balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • The candidates should be able to conduct performance reviews, organize and maintain inventory, and monitor revenues, modifying procedures and prices as necessary
  • The candidates should be able to ensure health and safety regulations are followed, negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, and negotiate with clients for catering or facility use
  • The candidates should be able to set staff work schedules, monitor staff performance, and address customers’ complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service
  • The candidates should be able to recruit, train, and supervise staff, demonstrating comprehensive management skills in the hospitality industry
