Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Product or manufacturing design: Home Care Items And Product Packaging
Exhibit and display design experience: Computer Interactive Or Multi Media And Visual Displays
Security and safety: Reference required

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure and pay attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, work in a combination of sitting, standing, walking and handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment, operate cash register and prepare sales, rental or leasing contracts
  • The candidates should be able to operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems, provide advice about merchandise and advertise and/or promote products, sales or services
  • The candidates should be able to perform data entry, provide customer service and assist in display of merchandise
  • The candidates should be able to conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
  • The candidates should be able to greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease, maintain sales records for inventory control and prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease
