Salary: $17.40 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Masset, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel and perform physically demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and distinguish between colours
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should demonstrate adaptability, be collaborative, energetic, hardworking, outgoing, and proactive
  • The candidate should be a quick learner, have strong time management skills, and show dependability and efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidate should be reliable, a team player, able to multitask, and demonstrate punctuality
  • The candidate should display resourcefulness

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment and operate cash register
  • The candidates should be able to operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems and provide advice about merchandise
  • The candidates should be able to advertise and/or promote products, sales or services and provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to assist in display of merchandise and conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
  • The candidates should be able to maintain sales records for inventory control
