Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be in good physical condition and be willing to conduct physical interventions
- The candidates should have safety services department provides 24-hour coverage, so the ability to work shift work
- The candidates should be willing to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and people skills. The ability to deliver positive interactions with guests and coworkers is imperative
- The candidates should possess a high degree of initiative and work well without supervision and criminal record check and provide a driver’s abstract
- The candidates should have computer literacy and must be comfortable learning new software. Proficiency in basic functions of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure the public safety and wellbeing of all patrons, staff, and local residents at PMR
- The candidates should be able to provide First Aid to guests and staff, including the use of an AED and spinal injury management equipment
- The candidates should be able to respond to alarms, including fire alarms, nuisance alarms, and door alarms
- The candidates should be able to inspect alarms and security systems, identify deficiencies, and rectify them and conduct accident or incident investigations and generate detailed reports and monitor the CCTV system effectively
- The candidates should be able to dispatch and liaise with emergency services as required, including police, fire, ambulance, search and rescue, and utilities
- The candidates should be able to perform foot and vehicle patrols of the property, including residences, parking garages, storage areas, and public access areas, to deter theft, vandalism, and disturbances and to identify safety concerns
- The candidates should be able to ensure doors and entrances are locked and secure as per security protocols and enforce community noise by-laws effectively and issue parking violation notices
- The candidates should be able to enforce PMR’s wildlife management program to ensure the safety of guests and staff and intervene in disturbances and potentially violent situations in bars, restaurants, private areas, and public areas
- The candidates should be able to respond promptly to and resolve guest problems, and assist other departments as required to maintain a safe environment
