Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 hourly for 25 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Part time leading to full time, Permanent employment
Location: Victoria, BC
Work setting: Liquor and wine store
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Type of product: Beer and spirits and Wines
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also in an organized way
- The candidate should be adaptable, collaborative, efficient, energetic, goal-oriented, proactive, dependable, reliable and also a team player
- The candidate should have integrity, positive attitude, efficient interpersonal skills and an excellent oral communication
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to operate cash register
- The candidate should be able to provide advice about merchandise, assist in display of merchandise and also prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease
- The candidate should be able to greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
