Transportation information: Valid driver’s license and Own transportation
Work setting: Sheet metal fabrication shop, Metal products manufacturing company, and Heavy machinery manufacturing
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Deburrer, Dolly, Hand tools, Hand truck, Lifting device, and Shotblaster
Own tools/equipment: Tools and Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Bondable

- The candidates should be comfortable with handling repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be physically fit to manage tasks that are physically demanding
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity
- The candidates should have a high level of attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods

- The candidates should be able to manage a large workload
- The candidates should have the physical capability for weight handling, with a maximum weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be accustomed to working in dusty conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in hot environments
- The candidates should be comfortable in noisy work environments
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit dependability in their work and have excellent oral communication abilities
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various situations and be reliable in fulfilling their duties

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products, and immerse metal products in cleaning solutions
- The candidates should be able to assist structural steel and plate work fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers, and sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials
- The candidates should be able to grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools, clean machines, and immediate work areas
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment, load and unload vehicles, and polish metal products to a mirror finish
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret work orders
