Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Green economy sector
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments and tolerate dusty conditions
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads while being prepared for physically demanding work
- The candidates should have manual dexterity and possess hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should have experience with weight handling and be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines efficiently to maintain continuous production
- The candidates should be able to load chips, sulfur, and processing materials onto designated equipment with precision and care
- The candidates should be able to sort, pile, and transport wood products according to specifications and safety regulations
- The candidates should be able to remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing to minimize waste and maximize resources
- The candidates should be able to assist other processing workers seamlessly to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets
