Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 3-5 years’ underground experience

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have accreditation in U/G common core modules and specialty modules
• The candidates should have a strong safety focus
• The candidates should be self-motivated with the ability to work alone
• The candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently
• The candidates should be able to read mine plans/drawings
• The preferred candidate will possess previous experience as a bolter

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to install ground support according to company standards
• The candidates should be able to install and maintain services as required
• The candidates should be able to load development rounds
• The candidates should be able to prepare development faces for Jumbo man
• The candidates should be able to meet the daily productive goals set for the job
• The candidates should be able to perform preoperational inspections on equipment and operate it efficiently and safely
• The candidates should be able to fulfill any other duties as assigned
