Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering, business and information sciences
Experience: Candidates should have 10+ years of IT experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Scrum Master role and Scrum Master Certification (CSM)
- The candidates should have 7+ years of people management experience and experience leading large cross-functional or cross-regional teams on major organizational projects, preferably in an agile work environment
- The candidates should have project management experience with a strong understanding of agile project management principles and practices, coupled with recent working experience as a Scrum Master on a project or initiative
- The candidates should have excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge
- The candidates should be able to coach the development team and help lead and ensure the “agile mindset” is fully adopted and understood
- The candidates should be able to inculcate core agile values of focus, commitment, respect, openness, and courage into the team’s ground rules through leading by example
- The candidates should be able to assess and coach the team to higher levels of performance, tracking acceleration metrics
- The candidates should be able to guide the development team on how to integrate agile ceremonies and values into daily work
- The candidates should be able to facilitate agile ceremonies including iteration planning, iteration review, retrospectives, and daily standups
- The candidates should be able to create a forum for discussing vision, goals, and Product Backlog items amongst the team
- The candidates should be able to apply techniques for effective workflow visualization and management Kanban or Scrum Boards
- The candidates should be able to identify, manage, and help mitigate issues and risks, with emphasis on timely removal of impediments for the team and directing obstacles to appropriate owners for quick resolution and enacting improvement strategies to increase the productivity of the team and quality of deliverables
- The candidates should be able to develop and nurture strong partnering relationships with the Product Owner or Business Sponsor and stakeholders and influence a wide range of stakeholders business, compliance, Legal, IT to remove impediments and maximize team output
- The candidates should be able to support and educate the Product Owner on agile principles and practices to preserve the team from external pressures which may inhibit its productivity
