Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Field work location experienceNova Scotia
Equipment and machinery experience: Shellfish processing machine
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, work in a physically demanding environment, and have manual dexterity
  • The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail, demonstrate hand-eye coordination, and stand for extended periods

  • The candidates should be able to set up and operate machines to clean, cut, cook, smoke, brine, dehydrate or otherwise process fish or seafood products
