Job Description:

Salary: $28.85 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Nanaimo, BC
Shifts: Day, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to load, unload and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades, and mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
The candidates should be able to help medical examiner in charge, assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, and perform routine maintenance work
The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and measure wood products to ensure conformance to specifications

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
