Salary: $15.50 to $18.00 hourly (to be negotiated) for 30 to 44 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate the cash register, process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
- The candidates should be able to scan items, tabulate the total payment for goods or services required
- The candidates should be able to receive payment for goods or services
- The candidates should be able to calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile them with total sales
- The candidates should be able to engage in suggestive selling
- The candidates should be able to stock shelves and clean the counter area
- The candidates should be able to greet customers, assist theatre patrons with seat selection
- The candidates should be able to wrap or place merchandise in bags
- The candidates should be able to weigh produce and bulk foods, provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to monitor all entrances and exits, and request proof of payment when necessary
- The candidates should be able to participate in promotional activities
- The candidates should be able to verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
