Requirements:

- The candidates should demonstrate advanced proficiency in Python and a very strong software development foundation, including CI/CD and automated testing
- The candidates should be experienced in Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL
- The candidates should have a strong foundation in data structures and data modeling and practical experience conducting code reviews with significant attention to code quality, readability, and maintainability
- The candidates should be familiar with containerization technology and tools Docker, Kubernetes and practical experience and a strong passion for AI/ML technologies and practices, including MLOps
- The candidates should possess strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective collaboration abilities
- The candidates should be experienced in Azure AI offerings such as Azure AI Studio and experience optimizing for a high-performing engineering team
- The candidates should have hands-on experience building NLP or RAG solutions, agentic workflows, and using LLM/data frameworks LlamaIndex, Langchain
- The candidates should be experienced in front-end development web applications using React and CSS frameworks
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to work closely with various Product Managers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, vendors, and Data Analysts
- The candidates should be able to provide technical leadership and guidance to the Scrum team, which may include Data Engineers, analysts, and AI Engineers
- The candidates should be able to transform and optimize current AI Engineering processes and practices for improved efficiency
- The candidates should be able to design, build, and maintain AI-powered systems, including the integration of large language models (LLMs)
- The candidates should be able to operationalize ML/AI models as core components of products while ensuring data quality
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with stakeholders, such as Product Researchers, Marketing, and Data Analysts, to define and build proof of concepts and experiments
- The candidates should be able to perform cost and performance optimization, as well as support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of AI systems
