Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Master’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a university graduation, 4 years of related policy and experience writing reports, briefings, policy documents, cabinet reports, and presentations with recommendations to senior leadership
  • The candidates should have experience with government systems, policy cycles, and policy approval processes
  • The candidates should have experience supporting or leading engagement activities, including drafting strategic engagement plans and developing engagement materials
  • The candidates should have experience planning, leading, and facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • The candidates should meet one of the following alternative education and experience requirements and a related two-year diploma plus a minimum of 6 years of related experience, a related one-year certificate plus a minimum of 7 years of related experience

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to conduct research and policy analysis to provide strategic advice and options on major policy initiatives that align with the Department’s strategic directions for the justice system
  • The candidates should be able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to plan, oversee, analyze, and coordinate the implementation of high-priority justice policies and projects
  • The candidates should be able to engage directly with department experts on activities required to support legislative and policy priorities
  • The candidates should be able to lead the development of strategic engagement plans to support ministry and government priorities
