Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in accounting
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to problem-solve and make sound recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness
- The candidates should have limited travel requirements, with a few trips each year possible
- The candidates should have the ability to forge, grow, and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups
- The candidates should exhibit strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- The candidates should display a demonstrated sense of urgency and a strong commitment to achieving goals in a challenging, fast-paced, and changing environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should hold a CPA designation or be enrolled in the CPA PEP program and with preference given to those with manufacturing or cost accounting experience
- The candidates should demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel, including working with complex formulae; knowledge of VBA and SAP
- The candidates should possess highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- The candidates should have experience in the administration and maintenance of accounting systems and processes
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform month-end duties, including but not limited to monthly revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and other month-end journal entries
- The candidates should be able to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting by complying with internal controls on financial streams
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with the parent company’s finance team to support their financial reporting requirements
- The candidates should be able to ensure that documents and practices related to material integrity and inventory or asset management are effective and in place
- The candidates should be able to review costing and billing reports to analyze financial performance and assist in creating forward-looking forecasts
- The candidates should be able to work closely with local office team members, AGI team members, and external auditors or accountants
- The candidates should be able to support decision-making by performing various reviews and analyses of data, identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
