Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a post-secondary degree in Computer Science
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years in an IT security role experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in information technology security, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience and at least 5 years in IT roles
- The candidates should have knowledge of penetration and web application testing, possess strong analytical skills and security investigation experience
- The candidates should have one or more of the following certifications (or be working towards): ISACA Certified Information Security Manager, (ISC)² SCCP, (ISC)² CISSP, (ISC)² ISSAP, COBIT, ISO, PCI
- The candidates should have experience collaborating with leaders across the business and IT operations to deliver enterprise success and experience in selecting, developing, and performance managing information security team members
- The candidates should have experience working with legal, audit, and compliance staff and experience in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
- The candidates should have experience performing risk assessments, business impact analyses, controls, technical security testing, vulnerability assessments, and defining treatment strategies and knowledge and understanding of the NIST Framework
- The candidates should have experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 0365 and knowledge of on-premise and cloud security (AWS, Azure)
- The candidates should possess working knowledge of routing and switching, as well as security devices like firewalls, application distribution controllers, intrusion prevention devices, web proxies, and related impacts
- The candidates should have familiarity with security monitoring tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Manager), MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider), and MDATP (Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection)
- The candidates should have working knowledge of some of the following technologies web proxy, firewalls, Cisco Meraki, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and syslog
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide technical expertise within areas of responsibility and commit to personal development of new technical skills and knowledge
- The candidates should be able to continually scan external technical and business environments to bring new and better ideas to the organization and ensure that technical information and knowledge is recorded and maintained in accordance with AGI IT standards
- The candidates should be able to contribute to a better understanding of technology across AGI with both technical and business teams and work with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure that architecture diagrams and technical standards are developed and maintained
- The candidates should be able to assess IT risks and compliance and advise the Director of IT Infrastructure and Security and contribute to the IT Risk, Governance, and Compliance Framework and contribute to and develop security standards and controls for the security of networks, servers (on-premises and cloud), personal computing devices, data, and integrations and develop security incident response and remediation plans
- The candidates should be able to develop ongoing Technology Risk reporting, monitor key trends, and define metrics to regularly measure control effectiveness for their area and act as the point of escalation for any serious security incidents and risks
- The candidates should be able to assist the Director of IT Infrastructure and Security with staff and external stakeholder identity and access management (IAM) and assist in AGI’s Information Security Awareness Program to promote and manage security awareness and education across AGI
- The candidates should be able to understand data privacy regulations in all areas that AGI, its customers, and suppliers operate and ensure that appropriate IT security measures are in place to maintain compliance and provide security guidance and advice for all IT projects and services and work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure that IT security is documented and maintained as part of all projects and technologies
- The candidates should be able to manage day-to-day security operations and work with technical teams to ensure that a SecDevOps approach is taken to application development and partner with and manage outsourced IT security service providers and perform internal Security Audits to verify that documented security controls are in place
- The candidates should be able to conduct internal Security Risk Assessments to provide leadership or other stakeholders with a high-level analysis that determines the effectiveness of AGI’s cybersecurity controls and rates AGI’s overall cyber maturity
- The candidates should be able to complete external requirements for IT Security Audits or requests for IT Security information and complete IT Security Assessments on third-party providers with written recommendations and maturity ratings
