Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Experience: Candidates should have 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, or Python

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have 2+ years of LLVM (or equivalent) compiler experience or equivalent experience
  • The candidates should meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements for the role
  • The candidates should be able to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter and experience shipping compilers and games
  • The candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 10+ years of technical engineering experience in coding languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or a Master’s Degree with 8+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience
  • The candidates should have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of modern rendering techniques
  • The candidates should possess a proficient understanding of GPU hardware and API fundamentals

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to work with our industry partners to ensure our compiler can deliver best-in-class content and performance
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with customers, partners, and stakeholders to help define and implement a roadmap for the future of GPU programming via HLSL
  • The candidates should be able to be heavily involved in new features in the compiler, both design and implementation and embody our culture and values
