Salary: $15.40 to $16.40 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time – Student Job
Location: Charlottetown, PE
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Student status: Full time enrollment
Computer and technology knowledge: Aloha Point of Sale (POS)
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Responsible Beverage Service Certificate, and CPR Certificate

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit excellent oral communication skills
• The candidates should be flexible in their approach and take initiative
• The candidates should be organized and reliable
• The candidates should be team players

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables
• The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings, and describe menu items including daily specials for customers
• The candidates should be able to advise on menu selections, balance cash and record sales, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
• The candidates should be able to describe and advise on wine selection, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders, relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and provide customer service
