Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register and point of sale system
Security and safety: Bondable

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads as required for the job and willing to work overtime when necessary
• The candidates should be capable of performing physically demanding tasks, able to stand for extended periods during their shift, and work effectively under pressure
• The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) as required for the job

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to ensure they are of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings
• The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise on menu selections
• The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, describe and advise on wine selection, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, answer questions regarding food and beverages, serve food and beverages, take orders, relay to kitchen and bar staff, assist clients/guests with special needs, and provide customer service
