Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and work under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused, have excellent oral communication skills, and be flexible
- The candidates should be organized and team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, describe menu items including daily specials, and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, answer questions regarding food and beverages, and take orders to relay to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, serve food and beverages, and assist clients/guests with special needs
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ cheques, or room billings, and balance cash while recording sales
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and provide customer service
