Smitty’s Family Restaurant based in Edson, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Server – food and beverage services. Smitty’s Family Restaurant is one of Canada’s largest all-day family restaurant chains, operating from coast to coast. Our dining rooms are particularly popular among families with small children, seniors, and travelers. From our very first patrons at our first restaurant in Calgary in 1960, to anyone joining us today, we have always been an integral part of your community. We will provide you with in-depth training and support, both before and after the opening of your restaurant. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $19.00 hourly for 30 hours per 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings, describe menu items including daily specials for customers and also provide customer service
- The candidate should be able to advise on menu selections, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs and also serve food and beverages
- The candidate should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages and also provide customer service
