Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge:Â Point of sale system
Credentials: Pro Serve program
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments
- The candidates should be comfortable with tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure
- The candidates should have the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

- The candidates should be client-focused, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their work approach, take initiative in their responsibilities, and be organized
- The candidates should showcase reliability in meeting job responsibilities and be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and describe and advise on wine selection
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, present bills to customers, and accept payment in various forms
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, advise on menu selections, and take orders, relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, provide customer service, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
