Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to stand for extended periods and capable of working under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills, showcasing excellent oral communication
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach to tasks, show initiative in their work, and be highly organized
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability in their commitments and be effective team players, contributing to a collaborative work environment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, and present bills to customers, accepting payment in various forms
- The candidates should be able to advise on menu selections, describe and advise on wine selection, and provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
