Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates should have a Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma or Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in commercial customer service or commercial sales in a call centre environment.

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. understand the major features of each software application)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to analyze and resolve client problems with key account and enterprise customers via the telephone. They should also forward problems requiring further analysis to a deployed Service Representative
  • The candidates should be able to plan, develop, and prioritize customer calls, including follow-up calls to discuss new products with the customer and ensure their satisfaction with the product or service offering
  • The candidates should be able to educate and inform commercial customers, including creating presentations, about existing and new products and Mail Operations processes, such as mail preparation, containerization, packaging, and scheduling
  • The candidates should be able to write or modify service proposals and inform Mail Operations and all stakeholders about the signed agreements and any proposed changes
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to the team sales target and CVI target by identifying potential sales opportunities and referring leads to the sales team
  • The candidates should be able to participate in the implementation of corporate initiatives at the divisional level. They should also assume accountability for achieving specific goals based on these initiatives and call customers to explain any anticipated changes
  • The candidates should be able to keep up-to-date with basic selling skills and key competitors’ products and services
  • The candidates should be able to maintain an in-depth knowledge of Canada Post products, networks, and transportation. They should also be familiar with the National Distribution Guide and Canada Post Operating Systems and processes, including business and financial concepts
