Salary: $20.49 hourly for 16 hours per week

Location: Sudbury, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Women’s shelter

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Target audience: Aboriginal groups, Adolescents, Children, Culturally diverse groups, Elderly, and Females
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to obtain information and prepare reports or case histories, engage in administrative and office activities, and appraise clients’ needs or eligibility for specific services
  • The candidates should be able to implement life skills workshops, assess clients’ relevant skill strengths and development needs, and perform housekeeping activities
  • The candidates should be able to engage in food preparation, provide suicide and crisis intervention, and resolve conflict situations
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients, maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research, and assist clients/guests with special needs
