Salary: $15.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, To be determined

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in their tasks, and be capable of weight handling, managing and lifting items as required
  • The candidates should be able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of their responsibilities

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate, ensuring precision and correctness in their work, and demonstrate dependability, consistently fulfilling their responsibilities and obligations
  • The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication skills, interacting effectively with others and conveying information clearly
  • The candidates should be flexible, adapting to changes and new situations as needed, and show initiative, taking proactive steps to address tasks and challenges
  • The candidates should be organized, managing their tasks and responsibilities systematically, and exhibit reliability, consistently being dependable and trustworthy

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped, and unpack goods received
  • The candidates should be able to inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, reject damaged goods, and maintain an internal record-keeping system
  • The candidates should be able to route goods to appropriate storage areas and oversee the loading and unloading of goods
