Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 44 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
Work setting: Equipment operation, excavation, and construction site
Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 11-15 people, 3-4 people, 5-10 people, heavy equipment operators (except crane), and labourers

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Construction
Own tools/equipment: Hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification, and Occupational Health and Safety Certificate

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working in dangerous conditions and able to work in dusty and noisy environments
• Additionally, the candidates should be comfortable working outdoors

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be dependable, reliable, and demonstrate flexibility
• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and be team players, with excellent oral communication

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to coordinate and schedule activities, including work activities with other project supervisors or managers
• The candidates should be able to ensure health and safety regulations are followed and resolve work problems while recommending measures to improve productivity
• The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules, read blueprints and drawings, and supervise workers and projects
• The candidates should be able to recommend personnel actions and train or arrange for training, as well as requisition materials and supplies
