Salary: $20.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 15 to 25 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Diesel engines, garden tractors, gasoline-powered equipment, lawn mowers, and marine engines 
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in dusty environments and tolerate various odors
• The candidates should possess manual dexterity and demonstrate attention to detail
• The candidates should have good hand-eye coordination and be able to distinguish between colors if required
• The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads

• The candidates should have a strong client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to inspect, test, and diagnose engines and motors to isolate faults
• The candidates should be able to adjust, repair, or replace parts using hand tools and equipment
• The candidates should be able to test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance
• The candidates should be able to perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment.
• The candidates should be able to review work orders and discuss tasks with a supervisor
